Operation
During the operation and functioning stage of the plant, we assume the role of Environmental Asset Management, providing comprehensive support to the Property in all aspects related to Environmental Monitoring as stipulated in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
Our service includes comprehensive control of the facilities, both within the plant and in its external areas, through the preparation of detailed monitoring reports and real-time notifications to the Property. We are responsible for identifying and anticipating potential environmental issues that may arise during the plant’s lifespan, offering effective technical solutions to ensure its operational sustainability.
Additionally, we manage the oversight of companies responsible for maintaining corrective and compensatory measures, including drafting collaboration contracts and supervising the work performed. This approach ensures that the adopted measures are implemented optimally and meet the established objectives.
We maintain continuous coordination with the relevant Environmental Authorities for the annual monitoring and implementation of Compensatory Measures, providing an Action Plan developed in collaboration with Environmental Management and Protection technicians.
Furthermore, our scope includes managing essential aspects such as Waste Management, Air Emissions Control, soil protection, care for the natural environment and biodiversity, as well as specific measures related to Fire Safety, among others.
The Environmental Monitoring Plan during the operational phase has the following key objectives:
· Comprehensive verification of the corrective measures implemented, ensuring strict compliance with the provisions outlined in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)..
· Identification and detection of unforeseen alterations that may arise during operation, with the aim of adopting timely corrective measures.
· Monitoring and implementation of the measures stipulated in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the Conservation Plan, both approved by the Environmental Department. These measures are detailed in the Unified Environmental Authorization (UEA).
Our approach is not limited to merely complying with established regulations; we also anticipate and address any unforeseen issues not covered in the regulatory documents mentioned. In essence, we manage the maintenance and continuity of all implemented environmental measures, ensuring the plant’s operational sustainability and adherence to the strictest environmental standards.
